Position Overview:

As a Senior Associate within the European Hospitality Capital Markets team, you will play a pivotal role in building our client’s advisory capabilities across mainland Europe. You will support institutional, private equity, and private wealth clients through complex, cross-border hospitality real estate transactions. Acting as the primary pipeline driver and deal coordinator, you will bridge hotel operational metrics with institutional investment underwriting to optimize acquisitions, disposals, and asset recapitalizations.

Main Responsibilities:

• Deal Execution & Management: Manage the end-to-end transaction lifecycle for cross-border hotel and leisure properties, including writing investment memoranda, overseeing due diligence, and coordinating with legal and financial advisers.

• Financial Modeling & Underwriting: Develop complex discounted cash flow (DCF) models, financial projections, and structural scenarios factoring in European hotel operating metrics (e.g., RevPAR, ADR, GOPPAR) and management agreements (HMA, lease, or franchise structures).

• Client Advisory & Relationship Management: Serve as a trusted advisor to global real estate investors, hotel operators, and private wealth offices, delivering data-backed buy-and-sell side recommendations.

• Pitching & Business Development: Actively support the Head of Hospitality in identifying new market opportunities, originating off-market deals, and pitching for high-profile mandates across mainland Europe.

• Market Intelligence & Research Collaboration: Partner with the Research team to monitor European hospitality trends, investor sentiment, and yielding profiles to generate thought leadership data.

Core Skills & Qualifications Required:

• Industry Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in real estate capital markets, investment banking, or hotel development finance, with a demonstrable track record in the European hotel sector.

• Advanced Financial Modeling: Excellent working knowledge of Excel (Argus Enterprise experience is a plus) for pricing real estate assets, investment structuring, and debt advisory scenarios.

• Cross-Border Market Literacy: Deep comprehension of multiple European jurisdictions, hotel lease variations, and complex international transactional structures.

• Communication & Negotiation: Superior presentation and writing capabilities to comfortably engage institutional stakeholders and articulate multifaceted capital strategies.

• Education & Professional Certifications: A university degree in Real Estate, Finance, or Hospitality Management. RICS qualification (MRICS) or a relevant post-graduate credential (e.g., CFA) is highly desirable.

• Languages: Full professional proficiency in English is required; fluency in an additional European language (such as Czech, French, German, or Spanish) is strongly preferred.
